Questions you should ask EVERY venue!

Will ours be the only event at the venue on that day?

Yes! Couples who book the Signature and Majestic packages get the entire 6-acre property to themselves. Micro weddings will have the ceremony area exclusively but might share the property with guests in the vacation rentals.

What is the venue capacity?

100 guests

Are we required to use your vendors?

No! At Eagles Nest BNB you have the freedom to choose your vendors or even DIY.

What are our options for rehearsal?

Rehearsal are only included in the Signature and Majestic Packages

Are you dog friendly?

Yes! Liability release required. No deposits required, however you will be charge if they cause damage.

When will the venue be available for decoration?

9 am day of Micro Wedding, and day prior for Signature and Majestic Weddings

What weather contingency plans do you offer?

If it rains, the ceremony is moved into the tent.

Do you have dressing rooms for the bride and groom?

Yes! Signature and Majestic packages include access to our vacation rentals to use as dressing rooms

Are there accomodations nearby?

Yes! Sekiu (10 min), Neah Bay (20 min) and Forks (40 min) all have many hotels, AirBNB, and VRBOs.

Do you have staff on property during our rental time?

Yes! Things happen. No matter your choice for a wedding venue, make sure you have someone onsite to handle breakdowns with the venue itself.

What paperwork do you require and when is it all due?

Signed contract and the greater of $1000 or 40% non-refundable deposit due at reservation. Insurance and others due 90 days before ceremony.

Can my friend be the bartender

No. Washington law requires a licenced and bonded bartender. The legal liability in Washington is insane the moment you introduce enough alcohol for someone to get intoxicated. Trust me. You want to avoid that.

What are the penalties for running late?

No penalies! We understand things do not always go according to plans. Our policy is to be generous. If you leave the property late and that impacts the next guests or I need to increase staffing, you will be charged for that.

When can rental ware be dropped off/ picked up?
  • In general, drop off day prior and pick up day after.
What part is our cleanup responsibilities?

You are responsible for picking up all trash off the ground, removing all food and drink and decorations, and remove everything from the tent that is not a table or chair. Make sure this is part of your conversation with vendors- particularly caterer, bartender, and decor rental. If guests are told they will need to pickup trach from grounds after the event, everyone will make sure to put trash into trash cans placed around the property.

Are we responsible for taking garbage out?

All garbage goes into our dumpster. Again, this is mostly vendors, but you have bottom line accountability.

How many cars will it hold?

About 40 cars plus vendors. It’s best if carpooling is maximized

Do you have a bar and food prep area?

No. Those vendors need to be self-contained.

Do you have music restrictions?

No! You’re free to rock out however you want until 10 p.m.

Do you allow confetti, glitter, etc?

No. We do allow bubbles, sparklers and maybe flower pedals.

Is smoking allowed on the property?

Yes! There are smoking areas on the beach and Cottage decks.

Do you require an event planner?

No! We do, however require a doy of coordinator for all weddings over 20 guests and some others, depending on number of vendors. This is necessary for a headache, stressfree wedding- no matter where it is.
